SUPPORTERS OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN FLEMMER FAMILY SITE
When we established the site, we had no idea that there would be so many visitors to the site - over 93,000 'hits' in 2008. These are not necessarily from Flemmer Family members; many arelikely to be from researchers looking for their own genealogical information. Whoever the visitors are, the cost of running the site was greater than we had bargained on and there is no way we can make vistors pay!
When this first became apparent, we put out an appeal to Family Members, offering memorabilia from the 150 Reunion and asking for a donation of R60 each. Our thanks to all who responded, whose names are listed below.
Many of those who replied gave more than the minimum and their stellar response is recognised accordingly.

As time went by and the funds started running dry, we put out a second appeal. The response wasn't as good the second time around, but our thanks go to those who responded, whose names are listed below.
The last mentioned is a reference to a family member whom Steve couldn't identify from the payment details. Whilst we were very grateful for all contributions, there was only enough in the kitty to keep the site going until September 2008, so a third appeal was launched, with even less of a result than the second.
